A specialized new type of reactive silicate-based surface impregnation material that suppresses the intrusion of top-class deterioration factors.
The "L-OSMO Reactive Type XP" is a sodium silicate-based surface impregnation material that contributes to the preventive maintenance and longevity of newly constructed concrete structures. With an appropriate component formulation and a rich amount of dry solids, it achieves excellent modification effects. It densifies the concrete surface and closes cracks of 0.2mm or less, thereby suppressing the progression of deterioration and reducing lifecycle costs. It has reactivity with calcium hydroxide, allowing for long-term modification effects. There is no change in appearance after application, and any deformation of the concrete can be visually confirmed. Reapplication is easy, and it can be used in conjunction with other methods. Preventive maintenance and longevity measures can be achieved on a low budget. No special qualifications are required, and the application can be done quickly and easily. It is also effective in areas with low applicability of silane-based surface impregnation materials, such as water accumulation points and cracked areas. *Due to the increase in product lineup in 2023, the name has been changed from "OSMO-XP" to "L-OSMO Reactive Type XP."
