We would like to introduce a case study of JUKI's automation implementation. The inspection measurement system "SE1000" contributes to a significant reduction in inspection time and the realization of quantitative inspection of defects through the introduction of a hybrid inspection machine using a high-speed camera and high-precision laser. Visual inspection/full-area scanning with a laser took 5,400 seconds, but after implementation, it was reduced to 40 seconds. Additionally, by inspecting while scanning the entire area with a high-speed 2D camera, inspection errors and omissions can also be reduced.
