We would like to introduce a case study from a major chemical film manufacturing factory that has implemented the "Special Film Cutting Circular Blade" from Kai Corporation. A circular blade was developed for slitting special films. Although this special film is thin, a very high quality was required at the cutting edge. Since the circular blade is sharpened on both sides all around, it is difficult to create a clean edge without chipping. After much trial and error, a high-quality circular blade with excellent sharpness was completed. The reduction in product defects has led to significant cost savings.
