The GRAID SupremeRAID, mounted on the R282-Z9G (rev. A00), is the first NVMe RAID card to achieve 100% SSD performance. Traditional hardware RAID was limited by the data rate of PCIe x16 lanes. Additionally, software RAID consumed almost all of the CPU's computational power while only achieving 10% of the SSD's performance. GRAID SupremeRAID overcomes the limitations of hardware RAID cards such as PCIe bandwidth, the number of supported SSDs, and the hassle of battery maintenance. Unlike traditional software RAID, it does not consume a large amount of CPU resources by offloading RAID calculations to the GRAID card. - Maximizes NVMe performance – 6 million random IOPS and 100 GiB/s throughput - Allows the use of SSDs directly connected to the CPU via PCIe. - Compatible with SCI (Software Composable Infrastructure), enabling the use of externally connected SSDs via NVMeOF.
