The "Normal Plum Line (Wire Position Detector)" is an instrument that measures the horizontal deformation (deflection) occurring in a dam body due to water pressure and ground deformation, checking the safety of the dam. A weight is suspended from the top inside the dam body using a stainless steel wire, ensuring stability in the direction of gravity at all times.
