The automatic online device "MiSSion-S Monitor" using Continuous Flow Analysis (CFA) has been completed.
This device is a modified continuous flow analysis system for laboratory equipment that automatically samples the effluent collected in an overflow tank, allowing for automatic distillation and measurement at regular intervals. It utilizes the principle of bubble-segmented flow analysis (CFA) as described in JISK0126. The sample is automatically distilled, mixed with reagents, reaches the flow cell, and is quantitatively analyzed. In the event of detecting abnormal values, it is capable of sending a signal to a designated location to alert of the anomaly.

basic information
In the ordinance to partially amend the ordinance establishing drainage standards (Ordinance No. 21 of the Ministry of the Environment in 2001), provisional drainage standards were set for 40 industries for a period of three years. After reviews every three years, provisional drainage standards are currently established for 12 industries. For one industry (precious metal manufacturing and recycling), the application period for provisional drainage standards for boron has transitioned to general drainage standards as of June 30, 2022. There is a need to monitor boron drainage in each manufacturing industry, and an automatic analysis device (monitor) has been developed that can measure accurately without manual intervention.
