■Challenges of Thickener Equipment We often hear from customers that they want to monitor the concentrated sludge that accumulates at the bottom of the thickener. However, since the sludge accumulates in the liquid, they are troubled by not knowing how to monitor it or what kind of measuring instruments to use... If the accumulated sludge cannot be measured... ● The quality of the treated water deteriorates, making reuse difficult. ● The rake experiences increased load and wears out. We want to find a way to solve these challenges! The solution to such concerns is the "Sounding Level Meter (Weight-Type Level Meter)." The sounding level meter (Sounding M's) suspends a detection weight at the end of a wire, and by moving the weight up and down, it detects the distance to the accumulated material. The weight reliably detects the accumulated sludge without being affected by the resistance of the water.
