The HDR-90 is a ProRes 4K recorder that records video to two SSD hard drives and is rack-mounted for OB vans or other integrated systems. It features a high-resolution 5-inch LCD touchscreen on the front, allowing for video monitoring and device settings and configuration. The monitor also provides a complete suite of scopes and calibration tools, including waveforms, vectorscopes, and focus peaking, to ensure perfect recording. The HDR-90 can record video at resolutions up to 2160p60 using SDI and HDMI interfaces available on the back. SDI is available at bitrates from HD to 12G-SDI, and the HDMI connection supports both HDMI 2.0 and 1.4 technologies. With multiple HDMI and SDI inputs, the HDR-80/90 can also be used as an ISO recorder to simultaneously record up to four 1080p sources. The ability to seamlessly switch sources with just a tap on the screen allows the PGM output to function as a switcher as well.
