Are you having trouble with fastening resin? When tightened with high torque, the resin can crack. It can spin, making it impossible to apply high torque, and the screw may come loose. We have a series of screws for resin that can solve these issues. Thanks to the special octagonal shape, the spinning torque is 1.8 times that of knurled products (31.0 Nm). The pull-out strength is 1.2 times greater (2713 N) (resin material: PP). This series of screws for resin allows for high torque tightening without damaging the resin. We offer both simultaneous molding and post-filling types, as well as nuts and bolts. Being made of steel, they are more cost-effective compared to brass materials. Not only is the material price itself low, but the ease of obtaining the material and compliance with RoHS directives are also not an issue. This is a case of weight reduction achieved by adopting high-torque compatible press-fit insert nuts, specifically SSOO nuts. By changing the insert nuts to SSOO nuts, we were able to reduce the number of nuts used from 6 per unit to 4 per unit due to their high pull-out strength. Similarly, bolts were also reduced, resulting in a total weight reduction of 17%.
