We will introduce a case where the bucket adhesion problem was mitigated and operational troubles were resolved.
There was a problem where the growth of adhered materials (calcium carbonate with a moisture content of about 1-4%) in the bucket was high, leading to an increase in current values that triggered the overload safety device, causing frequent emergency stops of the conveyor. Therefore, we proposed the "Tsubaki NAB-R Epro Beta (continuous rubber-bottom bucket specification)." This resulted in a reduction of adhesion to the bucket and achieved zero emergency stops of the conveyor. 【Case Summary】 ■ Issues - Cleaning of the bucket was required every time the conveyor stopped, resulting in unnecessary labor. ■ Reason for Proposal - Corrosion of the casing and wear of the sprocket were also progressing, so we updated the entire conveyor by changing the contact powder part to stainless steel and altering the material of the sprocket. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
