[Case Study] Technology Exploration: Drone Technology Supporting the Missions of Rescue Teams and Emergency Services
We will introduce a case of exploring companies that can design drones that meet NIST requirements.
At the PSCR2020 conference, there was an explanation from NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) regarding the results of our technical survey conducted to explore UAS (drone) technology to support the activities of rescue teams and emergency responders. The purpose of this technology scouting project was to identify drone technologies that meet NIST's requirements. Our company conducted a search for companies capable of designing drones suitable for various applications and identified 41 candidate companies. These included drones for industrial applications, government-related uses (law enforcement, firefighting, safety protection), photography/filmmaking, and commercial delivery. NIST expressed a strong interest in 36 of the 41 companies and will continue to narrow down the options based on specific requirements. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.*
