Drone inspections have been recognized as having the same level of accuracy as hammer testing surveys due to the amendment of Article 12 of the Building Standards Act. Traditional hammer testing required scaffolding to allow workers to inspect the entire exterior wall, which was time-consuming and costly. Infrared surveys, where workers used infrared cameras from the ground to capture images for analysis, allowed for quicker inspections and cost reductions; however, depending on the inspection target, it was not possible to capture the exterior wall head-on, making it impossible to properly inspect higher sections. In contrast, drone inspections utilize drones equipped with infrared cameras to conduct aerial inspections, eliminating the need for scaffolding or other equipment, thus reducing costs and time compared to traditional exterior wall inspections. Tanabe City, which has flourished as the gateway to the Nanki Kumano region, is also a place associated with the great figure who sounded the alarm for the environment, Kumagusu Minakata. It is a region with a high level of environmental awareness that has inherited his spirit. Miyaso originally manufactured buttons in Tanabe City for 100 years, but during the manufacturing process, nearly half of the materials were discarded as "punching waste." Therefore, we considered how to reuse this waste and conducted extensive research, ultimately succeeding in developing technology for its reuse. Coincidentally, in 1995, the "Container and Packaging Recycling Law" was enacted, but local governments were struggling with the disposal of collected PET bottles. In collaboration with the Wakayama Prefectural Industrial Technology Center, we established a chemical recycling technology for PET bottles, applying the button waste reuse technology. Currently, we handle the processing of PET bottles from many local governments. We also provide consulting and sales for factory wastewater treatment systems, sell septic tanks, and sell and install household and commercial disposers. We hope to further contribute to social and environmental issues through the recycling of PET bottles.
