Cupro has a uniform thickness and a shape close to a perfect circle, giving it a smooth texture and luster similar to silk. The absence of excess membranes on the outer fiber and the presence of fine holes like a sponge make it excellent in moisture absorption and release, and it is also less prone to static electricity, which is one of its appealing features. *The cupro we handle refers to Bemberg, which is a trademark registered by Asahi Kasei. "Yasaka" is dyed using a dyeing method called skein dyeing*, which preserves the softness and texture of the material. *This method involves taking the yarn in a loop shape and applying dye simultaneously from the outside and inside.
