Kemgard is a high-performance flame retardant and smoke suppressant, making it an ideal material for improving flame retardancy and smoke suppression in resins. (New products have been added.)
"KemgardⓇ" is a halogen-free, antimony-free inorganic flame retardant (flame retardant additive) produced and sold by Huber Engineered Materials in the United States. Compared to typical flame retardants such as bromine/chlorine-based and antimony-based options, it can be used without concerns about environmental regulations and offers excellent cost performance as a functional material. It helps meet the stringent flame retardancy and smoke suppression requirements in applications ranging from pipes and fixtures in high-rise buildings to panels and decorative materials used in today's construction and architectural markets, as well as modern aircraft interior panels. 【Features】 ■ Suppresses heat and smoke by forming a strong organic char ■ Patented molybdate technology ■ Coating of molybdate compounds on an inert inorganic core material ■ Achieves low cost compared to the use of ammonium octamolybdate ■ Can serve as an alternative to antimony oxide in compliance with the Specific Chemical Substances Control Law (Special Law) *For more details, please download the catalog PDF or feel free to contact us.
