We would like to introduce the traceability system for products and parts in the assembly process. Although a traceability system had already been implemented, the use of handheld readers by operators to scan barcodes led to issues with the effort required and human errors. In this system, all equipment, products, and parts are interconnected, allowing for automatic scanning of product and part barcodes without human intervention, and recording of traceability information (such as scan date and time, and ID). Since it is linked with the equipment, it is possible to notify alarms for mistakes in assembly procedures and prevent defective products from flowing into subsequent processes.
