Introduction of measures taken due to discoloration caused by gas during incomplete combustion in the drying furnace.
We will introduce troubleshooting for the phenomenon of "color differences, discoloration, and stains," which occurs when colors and patterns differ from the basic color samples or previous painted items. If the issue is caused by the adverse effects on the paint film due to the seepage of rust-proof oil that has entered the welded joint, it can be addressed by wiping off the rust-proof oil that has seeped from the heated joint during water drainage drying with thinner or similar substances. Additionally, there are measures for discoloration caused by gas during incomplete combustion in the baking drying oven. [Causes and Measures (Excerpt)] ■ Due to the adverse effects on the paint film from the seepage of rust-proof oil that has entered the welded joint → Wipe off the rust-proof oil that has seeped from the heated joint during water drainage drying with thinner or similar substances. ■ Discoloration occurred due to overbaking (burning too much) → Follow the recommended baking conditions for each type of powder coating. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

basic information
**Causes and Countermeasures (Excerpt)** ■ Discoloration occurred due to combustion gases from the direct hot air furnace → Change to indirect methods or electric furnaces that do not expose to direct hot air ■ Discoloration occurred due to incomplete combustion gases in the baking and drying furnace → Remove incomplete combustion gases and soot from inside the baking and drying furnace ■ There is a significant color difference between the base coat (primer) and the top coat (finish) → Avoid using colors that differ significantly ■ The film thickness is too thin (insufficient hiding power) → Ensure the film thickness recommended by the manufacturer ■ The material or color of the substrate differs (iron, aluminum, plating, etc.) → Use the same material for comparison *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
