Delivery achievements: Designed and manufactured furniture for shared spaces in student dormitories.
In February 2022, we designed and manufactured the furniture for Tsushima HUB, a student dormitory that opened in the Tsushima area of Okayama Prefecture.
Tokiwa Industries designed and manufactured the tables for the shared space and dining hall of the Tsushima HUB student dormitory, which opened in February 2022. Points that addressed the customer's challenges as furniture for the shared space: <Durability and Impact Resistance> In the student dormitory, which is used by many students, durability and impact resistance of the furniture were required. Tokiwa Industries, which has accumulated technology and know-how in office furniture manufacturing, addressed this challenge with the F-BOX service. By using design standards based on domestic regulations and Tokiwa Industries' experience and information, we ensured functionality while manufacturing furniture of high quality. Additionally, by conducting design based on information, we reduced costs for the customer, such as prototype production expenses. <Furniture Design Tailored to the Architectural Space> Since sizes and designs that fit the architectural space were required, we conducted thorough local research and meetings with the customer. By expressing the customer's envisioned image in 3D and confirming it together, we achieved a modern and stylish design that suited the architectural space.
