It is a material that combines excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance in martensitic stainless steel. Compared to materials produced by conventional melting methods, it has finer carbides and superior cleanliness, demonstrating excellent corrosion resistance while maintaining a hardness comparable to traditional SUS440C. Leveraging these characteristics, it is recommended for applications such as molds for plastic materials like hot runners, medical tools, and the hammers and mortars of tablet presses, as well as food-related applications. The recommended tempering temperature varies depending on the usage temperature and the temperature during surface coating.
