Tokyo Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance has been troubled by frequent collisions between forklifts and workers, as well as contact accidents between the ceiling of the forklift and automatic shutters. To address this, they introduced "eye tracking." While younger workers recognized the presence of drivers, they did not direct their gaze towards their faces. In contrast, experienced workers were observed trying to make eye contact not only with the drivers in the truck bed but also with those working in the surrounding area.
