basic information
**PERI DUO Product Features** ■ Universal specifications ■ Ergonomically designed shape ■ Easy panel replacement PERI has long been engaged in research and development regarding the application of polymer products in construction technology. As a result, we have focused on Politec, a polymer matrix structure that is particularly strong and highly durable. Since this Politec is used as the raw material, the durability of the panels is higher than that of conventional plywood, allowing for greater versatility. This results in cost savings and a reduction in waste on site. The product is designed with an ergonomic shape, making the assembly method intuitive and easy to understand. Additionally, it is designed to minimize the amount of tools required, enabling efficient work even for those with limited experience in formwork. This feature significantly reduces the time and labor needed for formwork installation and removal, leading to shortened construction periods and cost reductions.

Customer Feedback: Head of Construction Preparation Office, Civil Engineering Department, Kubota Construction Co., Ltd. (at the time) From the experience of actual construction, it was noted that compared to conventional formwork, it was easier to transport, and there was no need for horizontal beams or pipes. Both assembly and demolding were carried out efficiently. In fact, there were no labor costs involved, and the work was performed efficiently. Additionally, there was no need for storage space for materials like single pipes, which helped keep the area organized and compact. Regarding the quality of the finished concrete, although the water absorption rate is lower compared to plywood, I did not expect the same level of finish as with conventional methods. However, upon checking the finish after demolding, I found that there were no significant issues, and ultimately, the project was a great success. Considering the characteristics of DUO, I believe it is very suitable for construction in places without detailed processing, such as bridge piers and retaining walls. I hope to continue improving DUO and would appreciate suggestions to make it even easier to use on site.
