With the VARINLINE access unit, it is possible to integrate pressure gauges into piping and flanges without dead space, suitable for pharmaceutical and food industry applications with full material traceability for all wetted parts. The installation of instruments can be done not only by direct mounting but also through siphon tubes or capillaries. It supports various wetted materials and can be manufactured not only from the same material as the instrument but also from different materials. Pressure measurement is transmitted through the system filling liquid within the diaphragm seal system. Various designs, materials, and system filling liquids are available to meet the requirements of demanding customer applications. Model 990.24 is particularly suitable for food manufacturing with hygienic process connections. Pressure gauges can be integrated into pipelines or tanks without dead space using a VARINLINE access unit or a connection flange for the VARINLINE access unit. The installation of diaphragm seals on measuring instruments can be done not only through direct mounting but also by using siphons in high-temperature cases or through flexible capillaries. WIKA offers various solutions regarding materials, and the diaphragm seal can be made from the same material as the instrument or from different materials, with the wetted parts optionally available for electropolishing.
