To block road traffic vibrations, we installed vibration isolation on the underground exterior walls! We achieved good results.
In an old building facing a road with heavy traffic from large vehicles, vertical vibrations were perceived on the upper floors. An investigation into ground vibrations revealed that the vibration levels increase when large vehicles pass by. In the new building, vibration isolation measures were implemented by installing vibration dampers on the underground exterior walls to block road traffic vibrations.
