Introduction to the outdoor exposure of global and hot-dip galvanized coatings, including examination purposes, methods, and overall evaluation!
This document reports on the progress of a 15-year outdoor exposure study of Robar and hot-dip galvanized (HDZ55) coatings. The purpose of this test is to verify the rust prevention capabilities of Robar and hot-dip galvanized coatings due to outdoor exposure. While some color changes in the coating of Robar were observed, there was no occurrence of rust in either the cross-cut or flat areas. In addition to introducing the test duration, test specimens, and overall evaluation, we have also included photos of Robar and the galvanized coating (HDZ55) after 15 years of exposure.
