We would like to introduce a case study of the "flexible packaging" produced for Wajima Umami Workshop. The company was sealing its products in plain flexible packaging and applying labels with the product names, but this process was time-consuming due to the large variety of products, leading to issues such as mislabeling. To address this, we proposed "digital film printing," which allows for cost-effective production even with a wide variety of package designs. We designed and printed 25 different packages, which only required sealing the products in the printed packaging, significantly reducing the time previously spent on applying labels and improving work efficiency.
