Easy resin impregnation! Our open fiber yarns and open fiber fabrics are thinner compared to conventional products.
Sakai Oubex has established a manufacturing method for open fiber yarns, which are created by spreading carbon fiber bundles into tape form, based on patented technology from Fukui Prefecture. Our carbon fiber products fall under the list of regulated goods specified in the Export Trade Control Order, Appendix 1. Additionally, products made using these materials may also be classified as regulated goods. 【Features】 - Our open fiber yarns and open fiber woven fabrics are thinner compared to conventional products. - Due to their thinness, when made into fabric, they have fewer surface irregularities and less reduction in strength. - Both open fiber yarns and open fiber woven fabrics are thin, making resin impregnation easier. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

basic information
【Product Lineup】 <Open Fiber Yarn> ■ Open fiber yarn made by continuously opening carbon fiber bundles (PAN type and others) with 12K to 48K (1K is 1000 carbon fiber filaments) into widths of 2 to 40mm. ■ The maximum width that can be opened varies depending on the type of carbon fiber. <Open Fiber Yarn Fabric> ■ Fabric made using carbon fiber open yarn as warp and weft. ■ Results in a thinner fabric compared to conventional carbon fiber fabrics, improving moldability (resin impregnation) and physical properties. <Ultra-Lightweight Carbon Fiber Fabric> ■ Fabric that has achieved extreme lightweight among open fiber yarn fabrics. ■ While maintaining the same appearance as conventional carbon fiber fabrics, its thinness makes it suitable for molding complex shapes. *Various products can be provided according to your needs.
