In conventional suction tanks, when discharging sludge and other materials from the tank, the vacuum inside the tank is released before the discharge, which temporarily eliminates suction power and reduces the efficiency of the suction operation. The new continuous receiver tank "ART-C1" features two tanks that automatically switch between the tanks for suction. This allows for continuous suction of sludge and other materials, as the suction can be switched to the other tank while discharging the contents of one tank. By combining it with a dedicated sludge tank, it becomes possible to transport sludge and other materials with a vessel truck, even in sites that previously required a vacuum truck, leading to cost reductions.
