A sustainable project using broadleaf trees from Hokkaido! We offer natural wood flooring and interior panel materials made from three types: oak, elm, and zelkova.
Ikumori uses three types of native broadleaf trees from Hokkaido—oak, elm, and zelkova—to produce natural wood flooring and interior panel materials, all made domestically. We intentionally utilize the various "character marks" that arise during the long growth process as a design element brought by nature, thereby increasing the utilization rate of limited resources. When you make a purchase, we will plant a corresponding number of broadleaf trees in Hokkaido based on the amount of wood used in the product. *A planting certificate can also be issued. Grow, use, and replant. The Ikumori project contributes to the forest's cycle through the creation of products that "return the amount of broadleaf trees received from the forest back to the forest." 【Ikumori PANEL】 Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism certified non-combustible material NM-1316 ■ Hokkaido oak, real matte clear ■ Hokkaido elm, real matte clear ■ Hokkaido zelkova, real matte clear 【Ikumori FLOORING】 ■ Composite Hokkaido oak, 150mm width, UV coating ■ Composite Hokkaido elm, 150mm width, UV coating ■ Composite Hokkaido zelkova, 150mm width, UV coating *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

basic information
We, Nisshin Iks Co., Ltd., have been committed to the philosophy of "contributing to the creation of a comfortable living environment" for over 20 years since our founding, producing numerous products that emphasize "nature" and "authenticity," such as flooring and wall materials made from natural wood. In order to pass on the rich and beautiful forests to the next generation, we have considered what we can do, and we have focused on "broadleaf trees." Broadleaf trees are very popular in interior design due to their rich expressions, textures, and beautiful grain. However, compared to coniferous trees, the domestic self-sufficiency rate is low, and much of it relies on imports from abroad. When using domestic materials, we have no choice but to depend on naturally regenerated broadleaf trees, making the sustainability of resources a significant challenge. Taking this background into account, we have launched the ethical interior "ikumori" project, which involves planting seedlings equivalent to the amount of raw wood used to create our products. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.*
