An incident of organic solvent poisoning occurred during the cleaning of a paint stripping tank for automotive parts painting jigs.
The victim began work around 3:30 PM on the day of the incident, entering the washing tank to remove paint sludge. They went down to the bottom of the tank to gather the sediment and discharge it outside the tank, but around 4:10 PM, after discharging the sediment three times, they were affected. At the time of discovery, the victim was found collapsed in a crouched position at the bottom of the washing tank and was unconscious. They were transported to the hospital by ambulance, received treatment, and regained consciousness approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes after the incident.
