During the post-processing stage of producing the adsorbent, after removing bromine cyanide from the water, sodium hypochlorite was added for treatment, resulting in the generation of hydrogen cyanide due to a chemical reaction. Since no exposure prevention measures were taken, the worker was exposed to hydrogen cyanide.
