This is a case from a workspace with a gas oven in a Japanese and Western confectionery manufacturing factory. A gas oven was used without a duct to discharge combustion gases (LP gas) after combustion, and the exhaust fan was not turned on. The windows and entrances were kept closed except during entry and exit, leading to exposure to carbon monoxide generated by the gas oven during work. The worker complained of symptoms such as headaches and nausea, and upon rushing to the hospital, it was determined to be carbon monoxide poisoning.
