We would like to introduce one example of the diverse surface finishes of architectural concrete (Archicon), known as "exposed aggregate." This technique involves grinding the surface of the concrete with a polishing machine to reveal the cross-section of the aggregates. By varying the depth of the grinding, the degree of exposure of the aggregates can be controlled from <soft> to <hard>, allowing for different textures to be expressed even with the same material. *The photo shows an example of the finish of architectural concrete.
