This is a compact embedded board equipped with the Sierra Wireless Cat-M1 (LTE-M) compliant module HL7800-M, which can quickly evaluate the LTE-M wireless standard that covers wide areas with low power consumption using LTE mobile phone lines. The HL7800-M mounted on this board is compliant with the interconnectivity tests of NTT Docomo and KDDI, allowing immediate testing by simply connecting the included antenna and preparing an LTE-M compatible SIM. It can be controlled not only by AT commands from external master devices intended for embedding but also through standalone control by writing firmware tailored to applications into the built-in CPU of this board. With eDRX/PSM low power features and the power on/off function for the entire board, the system can operate with ultra-low power consumption. Additionally, with GNSS positioning (GPS, GLONASS) functionality, it can identify and track the location of target devices, making it suitable for various applications such as maintenance and remote monitoring of field equipment and vehicles, automatic meter reading, monitoring services, vending machine inventory management, coin parking management, flood control management, livestock tracking, and agricultural monitoring.
