A big difference between "having" and "not having"! A case where walking training in the rehabilitation floor was achieved without disrupting the pace (Azusawa Hospital).
We would like to introduce a case study of the mirror "Rami" handled by Komi Corporation, which has been implemented at Azukizawa Hospital. In the rehabilitation department located on the 4th floor of the hospital, the hallway is used as a walking training circuit. Patients undergoing training have previously walked cautiously around corners, fearing collisions. As a result, their walking pace slowed down, making accurate measurements difficult, and it sometimes did not contribute to effective rehabilitation. Since the installation of this product, patients can check for safety without stopping, allowing them to walk without disrupting their pace. It is also used for checking both sides when exiting the restroom and for confirming when bringing a stretcher out of the bathroom. [Case Overview] ■ Product Used: Rami ■ Effect: Safety checks can be performed without stopping *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

When it comes to mirrors, most people probably think of mirrors that reflect only themselves (such as full-length mirrors, hand mirrors, or three-way mirrors). However, Komi's mirror is designed to observe the movements of other objects and people, and to show "consideration" for others. For example, it can be used to check with a mirror if there is anyone coming around a corner to avoid a collision, or to see if there is someone trying to get into an elevator and wait for them. Komi's "considerate mirror" is useful worldwide, from convenience stores to airplanes.
