This is a high-speed compact FBG sensor measurement unit with a built-in signal light source (1.5μm band). The XGTR features an onboard processor and memory (16GB, data storage format: CSV), and is compactly designed with dimensions of 122mm x 100mm x 68mm and a weight of 490g (base chassis). It allows for the configuration of up to 8 sensors at one optical port, and the control interface is Ethernet (control protocol: TCP, data protocols: TCP, UDP, iNET-X). The timestamp is based on an internal free-running clock, with GPS available as an option. Both the sensor optical signal and the host PC control signal are connected via QuickFusio(TM) adapters to FC/APC and RJ45 connectors. It is powered by a DC power supply via the included AC adapter, but battery operation is also possible. Measurement software is included, allowing for the quick setup of a basic system when a host PC and FBG sensors are provided. With the adoption of the latest ASPIC technology and the absence of any mechanical moving parts, it supports dynamic strain and vibration impact detection with a maximum sampling frequency of 19.2kHz. It guarantees a measurement wavelength stability of less than 5pm, a wavelength resolution within 1pm, and an operating temperature range of -10°C to +45°C.
