The "Manten Project" was established in 2003 by the "Kanagawa Inter-Industry Group Liaison Conference," which called for participation from small and medium-sized enterprises nationwide, primarily in Kanagawa and Tokyo. It is a consortium for "Aerospace-related Parts Procurement Support" aimed at developing and manufacturing aerospace-related components. It was established with the goal of overcoming the weaknesses of small and medium-sized enterprises by conducting information gathering, research on new products and production technologies, and creating schemes, allowing member companies to collaborate and jointly engage in new manufacturing.
