We will introduce a case where the improvement of machine availability and process reliability in paper machinery successfully reduced overall operational costs!
We will introduce a successful case of improving productivity and optimizing costs through predictive maintenance in "Industry 4.0." At the Mitsubishi HiTec Paper Europe GmbH factory in Bielefeld, Germany, vibration monitoring devices installed on paper processing machines have enabled a shift from time-based to condition-based monitoring, avoiding unnecessary machine shutdowns. All 26 installed vibration monitoring devices, SmartCheck, were integrated with the customer's control system using Mitsubishi Electric's L-series PLC, which operates as a bidirectional gateway. This sequencer has enabled the realization of a new system. 【Solution】 - Monitoring of fans, motors, and bearings with SmartCheck - Integration with the customer's control system via Mitsubishi Electric's PLC, providing all process parameters to the vibration monitoring devices - Visualization using Mitsubishi Electric's SCADA *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
