What is a pandemic?

When the infectious disease expands beyond the outbreak area to a wider region, it is referred to as an "epidemic," and the stage that follows an epidemic is the pandemic. In other words, a pandemic cannot occur without an outbreak first happening. Like clusters, outbreaks often occur indoors.
