Video Integrated Management VMS for Manufacturing and Plant Industries
Shall we promote "digital transformation through video" in the production site?
VMS (Video Management Software/System) is a video integration management system/software. It saves footage captured by various cameras to a storage device on the VMS server, manages live footage and cameras, and allows viewing of the footage on VMS client workstations. <Why is VMS necessary?> As network cameras have become widespread, an environment has been established where footage can be easily viewed from the internet. However, in production sites, many traditional analog cameras still exist that use coaxial cables, and internet cameras are often only viewed from individual PCs for limited footage. To effectively utilize the digitalization of footage from internet cameras and the video assets from numerous analog cameras within the company, it is necessary to aggregate that footage data and create an environment where viewers can easily access the footage they want to see anytime and anywhere. Additionally, a video integration function is needed to link the digitized video data with various systems such as AI.

basic information
<VMS Implementation Capabilities> 1. Video Analysis By recording the production site conditions continuously for 24 hours, detailed analysis of the production site can be performed. 2. Camera Integration All camera footage, including cameras from different manufacturers and analog cameras, can be integrated, allowing desired footage to be displayed with a single click from a PC or smartphone. 3. Data Integration (AI, SCADA, etc.) By digitizing the footage, integration with various tools becomes possible. 4. Cloud Utilization By building the VMS system on a cloud server, it is possible to reduce the bandwidth of the headquarters' network and minimize initial construction costs. 5. Multi-User Unlimited camera footage can be centrally managed, allowing multiple users to view live footage or recordings remotely via clients or smartphones. 6. Mobile Device Integration A single smartphone can be used as a camera, enabling live broadcasting from the site while on the move. 7. Centralized Monitoring Initially, a camera LAN can be established at each site for a small start, and in the future, it can be easily integrated across multiple sites to build a centralized monitoring system. 8. Remote Operation Detailed monitoring of the production site from a remote location becomes possible, allowing skilled technicians to gather in one place and achieve remote operation.
