We received an inquiry from our customer, Company S, which produces herbicides and pesticides, stating, "Due to handling toxic products, we wear protective gear such as gas masks and gloves when replacing or cleaning filter cloths, but the situation poses a high risk to the on-site operators. The characteristics of the product cause the filter cloth to clog easily, necessitating regular replacements, and we want to improve the exposure of operators to these toxic products." In response, we proposed an electron beam screen (metal filter) that eliminates the need for filter cloth replacement, and they adopted it. As a result of using our machine with the electron beam screen specification, the need for filter cloth replacement was eliminated, reducing the risk of poisoning for operators, as well as cutting down on the labor costs associated with filter cloth replacement and cleaning, and eliminating the running costs of the filter cloths.

【POINT】Protecting the health and safety of operators ■ Electron Beam Screen Specifications - The electron beam screen is designed with tapered holes (filtering surface approximately 100μm) drilled into a thin plate of 0.5mm, and the holes widen towards the discharge side, making it less prone to clogging. - The basket undergoes turning processing followed by surface finishing, enhancing roundness and minimizing runout, allowing for a reduction of the residual cake layer after cake scraping to a maximum of 5mm. (In the case of filter cloth, it is more than 10mm.) This minimizes filtration obstruction caused by residual cake, thereby improving the filtration efficiency for the next cycle. - By reducing the thickness of the residual cake layer, the amount collected in one cycle increases. - Cleaning can be performed without removing the electron beam screen, so screen replacement is unnecessary for an extended period. This contributes to reduced working time and improved hygiene and safety for workers. It is also possible to remove and clean the electron beam screen as needed.
