A sturdy design that requires minimal maintenance! Suitable for testing elastomers, flexible plastics, and thin films.
The "2713 Series" is a self-tightening roller grip that offers excellent testing accuracy and a non-slip gripping action, allowing for quick and easy use. The upper grip is designed to counterbalance, making it possible to eliminate non-axial loads on the test specimen in accordance with the load cell. We offer the "2713-002, 004," which features an eccentric roller clamp action where the clamping pressure increases with the load, and the "2713-007," designed for use under testing conditions at room temperature and non-room temperature. 【Features】 ■ Allows for quick insertion of test specimens, increasing testing capacity and the number of tests conducted. ■ Functional non-slip grip for obtaining accurate results. ■ Suitable for testing elastomers, flexible plastics, and thin films. ■ Robust design requiring minimal maintenance. ■ Temperature range: ・2713-002, 004: -70℃ to 315℃ ・2713-007: -70℃ to +150℃ *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Instron was founded in 1946 by Harold Hindman and George Bahl, who were conducting joint research at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) at the time. They developed the world's first electromechanical (screw-type) universal testing machine. The name "Instron" is derived from "instrument" and "electronics." Instron's product range offers diversity that can cater to almost all global markets and industries, and since its establishment, over 70 years of testing technology and manufacturing experience have been built, with more than 50,000 systems operating worldwide. In 1965, Instron Japan was established to support customers in Japan. Currently, it has major bases in the United States, Europe, and Asia, providing sales and services in 40 languages through agents in 160 countries around the world.
