We received a consultation from a food company regarding a system to measure and record noise generated in their factory. We proposed the "Noise Monitoring System" manufactured by Rion. After installation, we performed adjustment tasks such as setting the measurement angle and started measuring and recording. 【Points】 - The microphone for measuring noise is designed for all-weather use and is installed outdoors near the property boundary. - Measurements are conducted using a directional microphone and a dedicated identification device to pinpoint the sound source in three dimensions, distinguishing between noise generated by the factory and external noise. - Measurement data is collected using specialized software and managed in a database.
