Cutting oils and tool life are said to be very closely related. The development of tools began in the early 1900s with "high-speed steel," which is a material that does not soften at high temperatures even when cutting at high speeds, hence the name high-speed tool steel. Since then, the history of tools has involved continuous development to increase cutting speeds further and to maintain tool life even at high temperatures (to achieve heat resistance at the cutting edge). Cutting oils contribute to extending tool life by minimizing the generation of friction heat and machining heat that occurs between the tool and the workpiece through their lubrication function. Currently, we offer a range of products that propose solutions to issues related to cutting oils, including water-soluble mist devices, high pH alkaline ion water generators, and accompanying specialized cutting oils, receiving support from numerous customers both domestically and internationally. Leveraging the experience and knowledge cultivated over many years in the engineering business, we will contribute to the development of the metal processing industry through product development that realizes productivity improvements in metal processing and sales through consulting for our customers.
