The "SDVP-100LA, SDVP-100LB" is a communicating pipe type settlement gauge that utilizes the principle of "water leveling." By connecting a reference device (water tank) installed at a fixed point on a horizontal plane outside the influence range of construction with a settlement gauge installed at the measurement target (or measurement point) via a communicating pipe (hose), it detects minute pressure changes caused by the difference in water levels between the reference water surface and the water surface of the settlement gauge using a differential transformer.
