The "2715-001 Series" is a capstan-type tensile grip designed to test twisted cords or braided cords more quickly and easily. The guide groove for the test specimen wraps around the capstan for 2.5 turns, allowing for two wraps to distribute the test specimen load and stress concentration. When a load is applied to the test specimen, the grip has a self-tightening structure.
