The "Potweed Type I" is an environmental and landscape block that has a grid-shaped pot section, maintaining the necessary functions as a riverbank protection while serving the purpose of soil retention. The grid-shaped pot retains soil, making it relatively easy for grasses and similar plants to thrive, and it has features that can suppress the entry and proliferation of species that reproduce via underground rhizomes (such as goldenrod).
