The water level gauge improvement consortium project for rice paddies has been adopted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries as part of the "Fiscal Year 2021 Smart Agriculture Technology Development Support Project"!

Our company is located in Okayama Prefecture, which is known for its thriving fruit cultivation, such as peaches and grapes, while also producing high-quality rice. Thanks to the warm climate, abundant sunshine referred to as the "Land of Sunshine," and the rich water from three major rivers, we cultivate high-quality rice. Asahi rice, which is beloved in the prefecture, has been valued for sushi rice since ancient times and is considered the root of Koshihikari rice. This time, we aim to realize a remote monitoring system utilizing IoT technology in collaboration with the Bichu Prefectural Agricultural, Forestry and Fisheries Department (Niimi Agricultural Extension Center). As part of our activities, we will develop a low-cost water level meter focused on measuring water levels in fields, investigate its usability, accuracy, and durability, and promote the dissemination of simple water level meters based on the results. 【Features】 1.
