RIVA system: Aseptic preparation using robots. We will introduce a case where the robot automatically adjusts the medication based on the input of the prescription.
We would like to introduce a case where the RIVA system has been adopted. Aseptic preparation of drugs such as infusions is one of the complex tasks in pharmacy. It was necessary to establish suitable conditions for production and select and implement appropriate technology for process automation. We adopted the Stäubli TX2-60 Stericlean, which can operate in an aseptic environment. In addition to environmental resistance, its compact design and large range of motion play a crucial role within the cell. It plays a central role in the production line, transporting products through various stations within the RIVA formulation cell. By effectively utilizing space, it enabled smooth three-shift production.
