"Super Hypochlorous Water" is a disinfecting and deodorizing water that has been adjusted to a weakly acidic pH using a sodium hypochlorite solution. By adjusting the pH to a weakly acidic level, the proportion of hypochlorous acid (HClO) is increased, allowing for efficient disinfection and deodorization at low concentrations. In July 2018, the heavy rains in western Japan caused significant damage, including landslides and flooding in a wide area, including Hiroshima, Okayama, and Ehime. HSP has engaged in disaster relief activities, including the free provision of this product, which has been used in previous disasters, to the affected areas in western Japan.
