It can also be used for tong operation training devices and the like! It has been made lighter and is easier to handle than conventional boot attachment and detachment jigs.
The Tong Manipulator is a system designed for remotely handling radioactive materials and hazardous substances, installed in facilities such as reprocessing plant analysis lines at nuclear-related research institutes, irradiated fuel testing facilities, irradiated materials testing rooms, hot cells in fuel cycle facilities, and hot cells in radioactive material handling facilities. When attaching, replacing, or detaching the dedicated boots, which are mechanical components for maintaining airtightness, it is necessary to perform the exchange while keeping the airtight condition. Therefore, a dedicated boot attachment and detachment jig is used for this purpose. 【Features】 ■ Can be attached and detached while maintaining the airtightness of our boots and support rings ■ Made of metal except for the operating handle, allowing for long-term use ■ The main body has been lightweighted, making it easier to handle compared to conventional boot attachment and detachment jigs ■ Designed for use with our manufactured enclosures ■ Compatible with lead swivel joints and resin swivel joints *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
