The D3S-ID is a portable radionuclide identification device adopted by the U.S. DARPA. It is used for security purposes around the world. The D3S-ID is equipped with a high-sensitivity (2x1x0.5 inch) CsI(Tl) gamma-ray detector and a Non-He3 thermal neutron counter.
